    -current bios is 209
    -upgraded catalyst to 10.7
-benchmarked with vantage with stock settings and got 10651 with temps of 77c GPU which is pretty good from what i've seen from other temps.

-played some TFT2 and loved it.

    anything else ?

i've researched a bit and found out that some Phsyx works with ATI cards but couldn't found the right version. if anyone knows, please link it to me.

    don't do anything!
Don't update drivers, don't flash your bios, don't even turn it off :0

    it's a really risky laptop!

This coming from a user with 6 posts  And I don't think (and probably several others here as well don't think) it's a risky notebook, if you really stand by that statement you should provide proof to back it up.

I agree with the user above me. I have 10.6 installed and with a little tweaking I'm having no issues. Also, you want to update realtek drivers if you are keeping creative.

So thats how you measure someone's experience with this laptop..by the number of posts. Awesome!

just a quick look in the forum and all you see is gsod, weird static noise, lag keyboard... and much more.

i love this laptop, but it has way to many problems and that's a FACT !

The laptop isn't perfect but what do you expect for cheap. I can live with the keyboard lag, I had static on my first one but I don't have it on my second one and never got a gsod. temps can be high for some because of the way the paste is applied at the factory. My temps in gaming would get to 96C and only reached 107 with furmark. Gaming for hours never shut if off and never caused any problems for me.

Looking around in the forum is not really going to tell you much, most of the posts are from the people who have problems and post about it in multiple threads. The ones who don't have any problems aren't posting or don't post much. Just because one person has a particular problem doesn't mean everyone will have the same unless they are using 206 bios and fn+esc all the time.
