    I remember seeing back a bit of someone did a kb light mod so it was fed power constantly. Can anyone find/have that thread? I seem to not be able to find it. :(

    But why would you do that on this laptop? Unless some one has dmg the controls for the keyboard and now needs a way to turn on the led's withought a switch.

    Because my KB Light port on my mobo is fubar, but everything else is working. (No GSOD, no lag, runs cool, etc) If I get a new mobo, I could also get new issues. So I figure running my own power connection will work, plus I can wire in a on/off switch. At this point, I really don't care about the warranty.

    Maybe you just put the connector the wrong side, you need to put it with the pull thing down. :p
