    Keyboard backlight not working

    I press Fn+f4 and nothing happens. No light at all. It flashes on for about 2 seconds while windows is booting up then goes right back off. The light cancellation switch thing has its light on, but I tried toggling it back and forth and it didn't help. I've only had this laptop one day! It was working yesterday. Help?? :(

    I have a G73SW

    EDIT: Nevermind! I reinstalled my ATK driver. I tried using the repairing function but all it did is give me a ton of errors upon restart. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall. Anyway, the stupid thing is fixed now. Thanks!

    Removing post. I wrote an answer involving reinstalling ATK package and managed to somehow not notice the bold part of your post! :( I guess my tiny brain thinks the part at the bottom is always a signature and should be ignored.
