Well, I installed win8, everything worked fine, until yesterday. suddenly, the keyboard options (Fn+FX) don't work (like volume, wireless and so on...)
    Anyway, what should I do?

    Thanks!

The ASUS ATK Package controls the function keys. If it is installed, you could try repairing it by right-clicking on it in "Control Panel - Uninstall a program" and choosing "Repair" from the popup menu.

ATK Hotkey, ATK Media, and ATKOSD2 should all be loading at startup in MSCONFIG.

If you haven't installed the ATK Package (sounds like you have though, since you report Function keys WERE working), you can download from the ASUS Web Site on the G53SW Product page. It will be listed under "Utilities".

I have seen reports that these ATK drivers do NOT work in Windows 8, so I wouldn't spend too much time trying to make them work...
