Just wondering if anyone knows if the Bigfoot Killer 1103 is compatible with the G53JW?

I'm trying to install the new network card, but so far nothing seems to work.

I can't see why it wouldn't work. What steps have you taken to get it working?

I downloaded the Killer software/driver suite, uninstalled the existing Atheros drivers, swapped cards, installed software/drivers.

I also tried updating the BIOS to 211. Still nothing.

When the Killer 1103 is installed, I do see something showing up under device manager under "Other" as a Ethernet Controller in PCI Slot 1, but it doesn't recognize it.

The seller says that it might be the native BIOS is too old to support the card (not sure about that since it's a simple mini pci wifi card, but then again, I'm no expert.)

The link to what the seller mentioned is here:

I'm trying to rule out if it's a faulty card or not at this point but I don't know what other steps to take.

Shameless bump. Has anybody tried either the 1102 or 1103 in any G series JW laptops?
