The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    When transferring large folders over the LAN connection windows explorer locks up. The size of the folder is a mix match of files totaling 7GB. I don't think it's the cabling or the router as I have no problems with other computers and wifi works fine. Using a clean install of Win7x64 Ultimate and Atheros AR8131 drivers dated 4/21/10 and 1.0.0.29. Also nothing that appears useful in the event log as well. This is the first I've seriously done anything with the laptop since I've bought it a month ago, so I have no idea if this is new or something existing.
