hehehe , your vga is dead.
only solution is to replace vga,
I also hear windows logon sound when I power on without vga,
do you know g73 doesnt need an vga to work, but no screen without vga.
so if you want your laptop back to life , replace vga.

before doing anything you should try external display by HDMI, any bios update or connector problem can cause such problem but you should check with external display first than we may look for further step

    he already have checked it,lol
what ever you do at last you will need to replace vga. remember my words.
you can get one for 200$ in ebay.or buy an gtx 560 , it will work, and can get it for 180$.
if display connector is lose , you would have got lines before its totally gone and even if the display connector is lose if you connect an external monitor, hdmi or vga ,you should get an output if your vga had life but it doesnt.

hey, your vga card is nearing the death.
or you have to disassemble the laptop and do an repaste, and seeif that helps.
your thermal pads are melted and due to over heating,
hook up an vaccum cleaner to vga vent, and put it on the max speed and hold it for sometime. it will take off all the dust inside it so you wont have any problem but you have to do an repaste as well.

if you repaste I believe that it will not create any problem, and for the melting issue just heat actually because of overclock, maybe some dust or something else. there are many person here which already repasted for only cooling purpose so you may go ahead

this don't look like thermal paste
it's more like glue or double side tape

I never hear about paste melting

as you know, once the temperature goes more than 75-80 C paste will change the form I mean will be like gum because of the heat transfer, you may see this especially on the CPU cooler bottom therefore it is hard to dismantle once the deviced cooled because paste will change to cement.
what it can be, because of the high temperature paste or if not maybe thermal band !!! lost its original form so you see as blue gum now.

First thing you should clean all area and you may try the repaste but before this in such hard game or in some bench like heaven or 3d11 you should try the system max2-3 minutes and you should see the GPU temp, it can be seen by MSI Afterburner if you go more than 80 in 2-3minutes you should clean and repaste my system is working 865/1730/1625 temp max 85 C modified bios 0.962V GTX 460M just for ref

after that 1 hour is there any sudden screen back ? I m not sure but if the card has capasitor then they should warm also, such complicated stuff but connecting parts or any other issue may cause it, as you mentioned before you say you clean every 2 week the system ? if it is true why ? almost 8 months never open the computer yet even for cleaning maybe during this period something loosened just idea

when your laptop is in blank screen state , can you toggle num lock or caps lock, can you do manual restart?
if you can , then the prroblem comes from vga.

yes, then for sure, vga is the culprit, does you laptop turn off just after you press power button? or do you need to hold it?

What you see in that video are thermal pads, it's normal to see them a bit outside of the heatsink.

This happened to me this Friday. I updated the nVidia Drivers from 267~ to the newest ones 295.73 since I had a freeze or two almost everyday and got tired of it.

New drivers work like a charm. Everything plays extremely well and the pc stays cold on idle, and gets around 72-74C after a couple of hours gaming... The downside is that whenever I shutdown the computer and boot, after the "Starting Windows" logo the screen goes black and stays that way for around 5 to 10 minutes. Then everything starts correctly... It is a nuisance and in the nvidia forums some admin said that they will fix that issue in the next driver package. It seems the new drivers do not recognise the monitor correctly and simply enters a loop state for a while.

Edited: If you are getting the same thing as I do, just be patient and it will boot by itself after some time. Once booted just put the laptop to sleep/hibernate for normal use.

I'm having similar problems. My G73SW screen sometimes doesn't turn on, but everything else does and it shuts off just by pressing the power button. So far twice, when I hooked it up to an external monitor, the LCD turned on (but it didn't turn on the external) so I have no idea if these two things are correlated. I've had no other video or heat issues.
