    Hi all and Peace :)

After some Minutes of searching for the latest really working W-Lan Driver for the AR9285 in my G73, i can present you the 9.2.0.419 Driver from 29.5.2011.

It was a bit tricky to get the INF files but so you dont need to search for a clean download any more ;)

    http://www.2shared.com/file/oklYtVN0/Atheros_W-LAN_Driver_920419.html

BTW i suggest for a great connection for gameing to set the variables for the device as i did:

    - receive buffers: 128 (set´s how big the package can get before you get it)
    - transmit buffers: 128 (set´s how big the package can get before you send it)

128 should be stable, and optimal would be if you only use numbers like 32, 64, 128, 256, 512.
For a great Ping use small sizes (= more transfers) but you may lose too many packages, so dont make them too small.

    - scan valid interval: 120 (set´s after how many seconds the w-lan device can search for other networks / may produce lag´s, so use the highest available option)

If you got another PC you can try to change those options like i did for the Atheros card.

Great, thanks! Works fine so far.

The archive contains no installer, so the "Update Driver..." method is needed to install. The archive contains files for both 32bit and 64bit (files ending with an 'x'). The "Update Driver..." method selects the correct ones automatically.

Will add these to the driver guide.

Just open the Hardware manager and choose your W-LAN device. Right click on it and choose update driver under the properties. After you have selected, the before unzipped, driver files, the installation will work or not. Many Atheros devices are supported, just try out.

Even under the properties you will find extended options where you can adjust my suggestions.

hope this helps..... if my english doesnt helps, feel free to write another tutorial.
