What are they? / Are they safe or recommended? / Where to download?
Also I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me figure out why I have absurdly low benchmarks on this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/508721-really-low-benchmark-scores-my-g73jh-a1.html

Safe Method
Downloaded the "latest" vga drivers from asus which is 10.1. Those are the official latest drivers but in my opinion, their old stuff. Always do a clean install of drivers. I recommend using "Driver Sweeper"
Work around
Download ati 10.7a drivers. These are beta drivers that comes with lots of goodies. For some they say it helps with gsod. But it doesn't for me so don't get your hopes up. So to soft of fix the gsod problem, i'd presume you are on stock vbios with no overdrive enabled, you can either download "AMD GPU CLOCK TOOL" and over clock your system to say 705/1100. Your stock clocks are 700/1000. That is the current work around. Alternatively, you can download "MSI AFTERBURNER". It is very similar to overdrive. So you can set it to automatically over clock to 705/1100 when the need is there.
Risky Method
Flash the msi/clevo bios. U can look around here for the threads. It is more or less a permanent fix for gsod. BUT you loose your hdmi and vga. If ur considering winflash, then u should shoot yourself. Never use winflash.
Or
You have the option of using ziddy's v3 which is basically an asus vbios with modified clocks and over drive unlocked. It doesn't solve gsod. It just helps u save a bit of battery and unlock overdrive.
I also created a vbios for myself. Its overclocked and also aggressively underclocked. Its in my sig if u want to have a look. But i don't think all G73's will be able to withstand a downclock that big as mine.
Thats about it for solutions. About your low benchmarks, maybe your powerplay settings are wrong. Switch to high performance, go into power4gear make sure its set to maximum performance. And then go into ccc which is your ati control panel and make sure powerplay is set to maximize performance. Hope this helps you out -
Never had GSOD till I updated to 10.7 so I'm gonna follow your advice and delte the driver I have now and go with 10.1

Sorry for the double here but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the 10.7 driver using Driver Sweeper because when I click ATi Display I don't know what file to remove. And is 10.1 the most reliable driver out?
-
1 - Uninstall current driver
2 - Boot to safe mode
3 - Run driver sweeper to clean out ati files
4 - Run a registry cleaner such as ccleaner (optional but might as well)
5 - restart and install 10.1 -
I can't find a 10.1 driver anywhere! Any links you could possibly have?
10.1 from what I hear is the most stable am I right? -
3rd sig link, scroll down to Software section, you'll find 10.1
