With latest beta graphics driver - 285.38, I am noticing that I am hitting the wall on my GPU overclock earlier on my G74Sx-BBK7.

Previously, 3D Mark 11, could easily survive 930, 1680. Now its crashy even on 900, 1620

Could graphics driver affect that ? Or it could be that I upgraded by RAM, from 8G, to 16G, and the new memory sticks, are affecting the card's potention ?

Dunno, may be both. But the driver crashing is triggered by the tdr, thing that nvidia said to have fixed in the next driver release.
