So, I apologize in advance if this thread already exsists, but I wanted to get your opinions on these new shooters that have come out recently. Okay, I've been looking at reviews, youtube videos, forums and they all seem to be flooded with fanboys on both sides.

From what I've gathered this is the idea...

MW3 is basically the same game as the other modern warfare games with similar graphics as black opps. I heard that the campaign is pretty good and the multiplayer is a mix between black opps and mw2. I know it's not even close to as good graphically as BF3, but I heard it's still a lot of fun to play.

BF3 has a much different play style than MW3. You have to use a lot of vehicles and according to what people have said, it is a "slower" paced game than MW3. I played a little BF3 at my buddies house and it seemed like a pretty good game. At the very least, its most definitely has the most impressive graphics Ive ever seen.

Now, what I would like to know is, in your opinions, which game is more fun? I do not really care about having the best graphics in the world (if you look back on games like ff7 and ocarina of time they didn't have the best graphics but they were lots of fun) I just want to play a good game with a decent campaign and good replay value in mutliplayer. If good graphics are a bonus, awesome!

I am leaning more towards BF3, but to be honest I don't like a lot of things I have heard about regarding Origin. I heard something about it being spyware (probably bs) and I also heard that you can not choose the game type you want to play. That kinda turns me off to be honest. But anyways, I assume the majority of you have played one or both of these titles. So please let me know your opinions to help make a choice. Thanks in advance guys. Ciao

(EDIT) To give you an idea of the games that I really enjoyed in the past... I am a huge fan of Halo, Quake and RainbowSix series. I was actually hoping to play Rage for multiplayer, but they decided to get rid of deathmatch and add that stupid looking car game.

Well first off, wrong forum. Second it comes down completely to personal preference. Do you want a fast paced one man army twitch shooter that will get you in the action quickly or a really slow but bigger scale and more team orientated shooter with a heavy emphasis on vehicles? Whatever the people here say will not ring true for you. Look at some videos and reviews and make the decision yourself.

Yea I have heard people say similar things. The only reason why I am asking here is because I will be playing whichever game on the g53sw-a1. I would love to try both, but I aint gonna drop 120 bucks on shooters. I want to pick one, and only one.

Being scared about reviews , i just bought them both as i got a special price ( got both for half the price , so it was ok )

Activison makes me sick with this game wich is NOTHING than a Map Pack for MW2. Really. But , even if there's several problem ( COD Elite features are probably not coming for PC , Dedicated servers don't have XP ... ).

But , the game is still fun , especially if you never played any CoD multiplayer. For old players , it's just nothing than a new pack.

Battlefield 3 is really fun , but a very different gameplay style. I can't play Battlefield if i know that i only have 20 min for ex. I need to prepare myself , training a bit before making some kills , stay calm , hidden and think etc ..

If you want a deep game with very good graphics ( care , this game is really GPU demanding on 1080P ) , go for battlefield.

If you want a cool arcade style game , jump in , frag , and don't think for a minute , go for MW3. +mw solo seems , from what i've done so far , better than BF one.

If you're rich , just buy them two and enjoy both games before they are full of cheaters.

to chime in with the same sayings, its personal preference because each side has fanboy status that will bash the other, so there's no clear-cut answer that one game will generally be better than the other.

its bmw or mercedes and not mercedes or volkswagon

Buy BF3. Activision totally pimped out CoD and destroyed the dev studio that made it.

Origin is okay, much prefer Steam, but it isn't that bad of a client. Although, I have no issues getting in and out of games in MW3, but BF3 crashes often, not sure why. It has done this with/without my OC.

Yea I also am a fan of steam. I wish that they released BF3 for steam, then this would be an easier choice for me. Do you happen to know why exactly they had the old battlefields on steam, but for BF3 they went with Origin?

Origin is memory consuming , and make my game " switch back " to desktop everytime i get a notification , really annoying.

Adding the fact that i was unable to play neither Crysis 2 or BF3 while offline , that's what i don't like about origin for the moment.

Everybody spit on steam when it came out , but we must say that now , it's a must have and it works great !

They are all good game. I own both.
You might not seen significant change in MW3 Graphic, but i am sure it is loaded with Fun.
MW3 pulled me out of BF3 games for 3 weeks and i am having no plan to go back with my Squad on battlelog anytime soon.

But each games has its own aspect of fun. BF3 is Tactical Shooter, you won;t see any fast-packed action pretty much in the game. But it has good weapons inventory as long as the physical effect. You would enjoy full Battlefiled experience when you have the whole party in voice chat party and really do the teamwork.
MW3 is focus more on gun-run, fast-packed gamestyle, which mean you see the enemy a lot as long as you play the game. You don't need to have friends to have full MW3 Experience, but i recommend to have a party and pkay Sabotage , Search and Destroy, or Demolination, which require hard teamwork also.
I know because i love both game. Cheers. :)
PS: The DLCs jokes is out of dated, don't be a fanboy. :)
