Best Buy ASUS G73JH latest Realtec drivers. from Chasitiys page.
Not USING USB headset just a normal mini (mic speaker) jacks headset.

Since it was new there seemed to be a voice echo problem. When in Voice with someone they hear their voice echo back delayed in my mic signal. Heasdsets did not really seem to help. Was bearable so ignored.

Now - when plugging in headset I get NO mic signal anymore when speaking but a mic signal wiggle in the record side green bars when they speak to me!

unplugging headset mic goes back to previoius leaky but working sound.
Plugging in headset mic just looses my mic signal all together and only the leak gets thru.

It is Like a failure to switch over to external mic and sending the voice in line from VIOP comming in instead

    Anyone got any Ideas?

    bad mixer?
    dirty jack?
    is there a test program?

    Thanks everyone.
