    Hi,

I'm the owner of a G51Jx-A1. Some time ago, I noticed the the screw and rubber cap located in the top left corner of the screen part were missing.

I've contacted my retailer, some repair shops around my area, searched the net and I can't find any place to purchase the missing screw and the rubber cap. And since those are kind of unique and small, it's hard to find an equivalent.

So my question is: is there a nice provider that exists where I can get those?

    Thanks a lot!

Oddly enough, ASUS is stingy with those rubber feet even with a lot of resellers, so they can be tough to find. Have you contacted ASUS support to see if you can get a hold of at least the screw (or even the rubber cap if you're lucky)?

When I received my laptop back from the monkeys at the Indiana rma facility, most of the stock Philips head screws were stripped so bad that I had to replace them. I found new screws at my hardware store but they were in a longer length, so I just cut them down to size with a rotary cut off wheel. They are a M2 sized screw, at least they were on my k50in, and i am guessing they are the same across the asus brand. If you can't find them at your hardware store then you could order them from McMaster Carr

ok thanks guys. I'll ask Asus directly before ordering. I found a site:
Welcome to LaptopScrews which could help a lot, but the shipping for Canada is like 12$...
