    Hello peps, I'm asking this on behalf of a random person I chatted with on youtube. I'm aware of most of the issues on this laptop so I made an ez tutorial on how to fix some stuff.

    anyway, Here is the question I got:

    Anyone know the fix to this?

    You can ask him to try it on a external monitor via VGA port.

    I don't think it's not the screen not turning on, I think it's the screen not receiving any video signal from the laptop.

    ok, thanks for the reply.

    edit - if it turns out its not receiving video input, what would be the best solution? deal with it and hope it turns on or rma? or perhaps there is a way to fix it himself?

    He would want to RMA it and have Asus fully check unit for him.

    RMA it simple as that why work double hard for something he has warranty on?
