Well, Idk what happens to my G73, after half hour or less playing certain games like Modern Warfare 2 or GTA IV (nothing happens when I play other game like Mirror's Edge, Tomb Raider...) , it suddenly shutdowns without any warning. I don't think it has anything to do with thermal problem because my temps are not high as you can see:

I'm guessing those temps you showed are not after playing GTA for 30 minutes.

Did you wait until you finished playing to start HWiNFO?

You need to post load temps to get an idea, but just from looking at the PCH core your sys is using up a hell of a lot of power. Maybe there is no relation but when I play gta4 my pch core uses 52W , cpu 73c and gpu tops out at 83c.

Your GPU TD shows a max of 101C, which is pretty high. Many users report their machines shutting down when temps reach 105 or 110. Hence, it is likely a heating issue.

Where do you keep the laptop when you're playing games, are all the air in takes open?
What are your ambient temps like?
Are you in an Air conditioned room when your playing games?
Can you hear the fans kick into high gear when playing games like GTA IV?

oh and lastly, which version of Cats are you using?
