    I've opened it up and taken a look at it multiple times, dusted, cleaned, etc. I think it's just time to replace it altogether.

    What's confusing me is that whenever I look into finding a replacement fan all I can find are CPU fans and I've come across a couple of forum posts that say that both fans are pretty much the same and will work for either component. I'm mainly posting this thread to see if I can get a confirmation on that before I buy one.

    Looks the same as the CPU fans I've seen. I want to buy it but I'm still unsure if both the GPU and CPU fans are the same and are interchangeable.
