I am having problems with my GPU. I am getting very low frames in all the games I play and the GPU usage will not go over 0% in GPU-z. I am plugged in and on high performance. I have reinstalled drivers from 11.4-11.8. I had no problems last night. My temps are fine also.

I have tried both enabled and disabled on powerplay and it made no difference. still 0% gpu usage and low frames.

Do you have testing equipment to verify that your power supply is putting out the full 150 W?
What power scheme are you using ? If you are on one of the power-4-gear, try standard windows theme -high performance.
If you are on windows HP try power-4-gear HYPO

I don't have the equipment to test my power supply. I have tried both windows and p4g high performance with the same results. Also tried doing a system restore last night and that did not help.

I was able to fix my problem by removing the battery and holding the power button for about 30 seconds. GPU usage now goes up to 99% and my frame rate is smooth again. Thanks for the help.

Glad you were able to fix it; the battery pull reminds me of my days with a Blackberry :p

One final question, just for curiosities sake, did you ever game on the battery?
