My 1 year old battery is dead today when my laptop shut down suddenly, I am so surprise because I rarely use my battery for gaming, or something else long time using. First is my GPU got RMA after 4 months using, second RMA of GPU is 3 months later, now after 1 year the damn battery is dead with no reason. I dont think ASUS is a good brand anymore !

With all due respect, you're using a system with a Li-Ion battery like any other brand... Batteries die, and sometimes you can have bad luck... I don't really think ASUS does anything different from any other manufacturer where batteries are concerned.

Sorry for the bad luck, but we're dealing with computer components here and I don't think that ASUS is really doing anything totally different or radical from any of the other brands. If you visit any brand forum, you'll see people who have had problems. The main thing is how your system runs when everything is working properly. ASUS imo provides decent value for the money and when my system is running right (right now), I can't think of many systems I'd rather have at the same pricepoint.

Short, but it says it all. A larger power drain on a battery can wear it out faster and gaming on battery definitely enters that category.
