I have a G51J 3D
and i tried to undervolt the 260m from 0.95v to 0.90
but i cant access the vbios... after some digging i found that the vbios was in the actual bios and now i need help with undervolting the card...
would some one help me?

the vbios on the G51J-3D resides on the system bios... i extracted the module but NiBiTor doesnt support it...
-
Well, let me see the module...

Get 208, the gentech one was only a beta.

There's no 0.9V available in the vbios, only 0.95V and 0.85V. I doubt the 3d clocks will work at 0.85V.
-
those are the default clocks... the way that the vbios works in that context is defining a max (0.95v) and a min (0.85)
i just want to lower those to 0.90 and 0.80
for those models where the vbios isnt located on the system bios the undervolt works with those parameters ... -
Read my post again. I did look at the VBIOS. There are only two values in the voltage table, and they are 0.85V and 0.95V. There's no way to set it to a different value.
-
could you change those values... ? its just code on a file...
-
No, it's not just code on a file, you're getting limited by your hardware. The voltage regulator isn't programmable. There are two voltages available in this case, that's it.
-
but the card goes from 0.85 to 0.90 and then to 0.95... so im assuming that the vbios is specifying a upper limit of 0.95 and a lower limit of 0.85... and i now that the 260m can handle other voltages...
im just asking if those values can be adjusted...
