    Need Help Modding Bios G51J

    I have a G51J 3D
    and i tried to undervolt the 260m from 0.95v to 0.90

    but i cant access the vbios... after some digging i found that the vbios was in the actual bios and now i need help with undervolting the card...


    would some one help me?

    the vbios on the G51J-3D resides on the system bios... i extracted the module but NiBiTor doesnt support it...

    There's no 0.9V available in the vbios, only 0.95V and 0.85V. I doubt the 3d clocks will work at 0.85V.

    those are the default clocks... the way that the vbios works in that context is defining a max (0.95v) and a min (0.85)

    i just want to lower those to 0.90 and 0.80

    for those models where the vbios isnt located on the system bios the undervolt works with those parameters ...

    Read my post again. I did look at the VBIOS. There are only two values in the voltage table, and they are 0.85V and 0.95V. There's no way to set it to a different value.

    No, it's not just code on a file, you're getting limited by your hardware. The voltage regulator isn't programmable. There are two voltages available in this case, that's it.

    but the card goes from 0.85 to 0.90 and then to 0.95... so im assuming that the vbios is specifying a upper limit of 0.95 and a lower limit of 0.85... and i now that the 260m can handle other voltages...

    im just asking if those values can be adjusted...
