Anyone ever put this CPU in the ASUS G50VT laptop and have it work fine? It uses Socket P like the proc that is in it now. Will the processor below work in it? Any suggestions?

The E8435, E8335, E8135 etc are all processors used in Mac which have a higher power consumption ( TDP rating ) than the T9XXX series chips, Or P series.

What you should be looking at is replacing the CPU with same TDP rating. The E8435 also comes in 2 flavors, the E8435 C0 step which has a TDP of 55W!!! and the E8435 E0 which has a TDP of 44W. The T9900 has a TDP of 35W, so thats a huge difference. It all boils down to heat dissipation. I haven't looked up specs for your laptop, but chipset matters too. These Cpus are all compatible with GM45, PM45 chipset, download and run CPuz and take a look at what you got.

Very nice answer ! Could you tell about iMac . Now I know my 2009 early model iMac can be upgraded from e8135 to e8435. How to distinguished E0 and C0.Because they have very similar looking and very important question for me is that can I upgrade my CPU to QX9300 or q9000? If cannot, why?
By the way ,I have read an article about QX9300 cannot work on iMac 8.1 2008 model. Is that the same motherboard I am using on my iMac 2009 early model?

It's down to the stepping code on the chip. Typically you can't move from dual to quad unless your motherboard specifically supports it.
