Got the $$ in my sweaty little hands, and was going to purchase a G73 this week, but choked when it came time to pull the trigger. :(

Not really a "gamer" per se, but a "simulator", FSX, RoF, CloD(maybe).

Aside from the much faster CPU and GPU, the main thing that bothers me about the G50 in flightsims is that it is hard to read the gauges on a 15.6" screen, and I figure the larger screen on the G73 would help a lot. (Had a Sager 9860 with 17" screen and it was sweet.)

So, push me! Will I see BIG CHANGES, for the better? (1300 bucks is a lot of money for me, but simming is my main recreation, so...)

    ohh ok...

Well the G74 is almost out.. Wait for it...
Or pick up a G73 for the new disounted cost.

By from a sponcer of the web site, or a place with a good warranty plan...

I came from the G50 myself to the G73JH and couldn't be happier with such an upgrade in a laptop.

I still get a little flutter in my heart when i walk into my room and see the trim lines of my G73 waiting. :D

Highly recommended. throw in an SSD and it'll be unbeatable.

SSD + g73 is a great machine. I had a g50v-x1 that I sold super cheap well after I had my g73. There is an immense difference between the power of a g73 and a g50!
