Ok not too long ago my laptop crashed and now when I boot it up all it brings up is the screen with the Asus icon (where you can access the BIOS menu) and after that screen it goes straight to a black screen with a blinking cursor about 3 inches from the top right hand corner. Any one have any ideas on what I need to do? Well thanks for all of the tips and suggestions ahead of time.

First try to enter the BIOS and reset to defaults. Also make sure the BIOS sees the boot drive.
Next hit ESC shortly after power on, this should bring up a menu of boot options, select the hard drive where windows is installed.
Verify there is no DVD/CD in the computer.
If these do not help, you may need to do a repair on windows- (I assume you are running 7)

Yes it sounds like you may need to do a startup repair on the drive using a windows 7 or windows vista disc. Startup Repair: frequently asked questions

For the cause of the BSOD: if it's from the 0x124 stop code, update to bios 208 or later. You can check your event viewer to get the stop code. If it's not 0x124, other possible causes are the creative drivers or razer drivers. Uninstall or upgrade them from: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download G51J
