This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     My wife's laptop took a spill - well it was either the laptop or the baby so I begrudgingly admit she made the right choice. Anyway, I'm a laptop repair newbie as my life revolves around desktops so I am hoping that one of you could point me in the right direction for where to get a replacement screen and some guidance on how to install it. The screen itself isn't damaged too bad - still works, just some dead pixels so I'm confident that the rest of the machine is ok.
