    Here is my story:
Today I decided to test the flash memory slot on my beloved G73. First I swap out the dummy SD card, and then put in my video camera's one. It fitted and work perfectly, but the problem is, after that I have no idea on how to get my card outta the slot. I tried several ways but nothing worked, even titled my lappy to one side so that hopefully the card would come out...
Anybody who has experienced it before please tell me the way to solve this problem, I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

pushing it in to trigger the release does not work? In the G73 I'm also able t get my fingernail on the card edge as well - I pulled out the dummy card that way

Yes, even pushing it to trigger the release couldn't help, and it seems like the card went in so deep that my fingernail wouldn't be able to reach it...

Push the card further in till it clicks, then let go.

I remember when they added those to PCMCIA slots, took me a few mins to figure it out.

Edit: umm... what kinda card was it you put in?
    Also, tweezers.

Unfortunately, the slot is too small for a tweezers to infiltrate...

I tried to prise it out by using a tiny toothpick but the card didnt budge a bit although it didn't get stuck or something like that..

toothpick with folded scotch tape, sticky side out obviously

Use enough tape that you can pull it out without the toothpick after you've used the toothpick to stick it to the card

If you can't take your memory card from the outside, try pushing it out from the inside. Some memory card readers have gaps on the exterior casing (i'm guessing for heat dissipation purposes). You can try push it out with a toothpick or similar object.

There is a thumbnail slot on the edge of the SD card (look at the dummy SD card for reference), just use that to pull it out. There's no locking mechanism, so it's not locked in place and should slide out. Did you place it in the slot upside down?

Ok calm down. You're gunna need some nail polish and some matches. When they get in there deep like that, the only way to coax em out is to smother them and apply some heat to their backsides to make it very uncomfortable in there. Also, I heard eating some very hot jalepenos works too.
