I just got an Asus G73jh off ebay. I wiped the hdd, but I'm having trouble finding and installing the right drivers. I went to http://www.asus.com.au/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G73Jh/#download to get the drivers. But I am just so confused as to what I need, there seems to be alot of options and I am not use to the terminology. Can somebody help me out to which drivers I need and how I should install them.

Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it.

What is confusing about the list?

Read the description for each one and install only the latest one.

    Which specific terms confuse you?

Download the following installers/drivers on Chastity's Driver Page

    Drivers
    Bluetooth drivers for BT-270
    Alcor AU6433 Multi-Card Reader V1.7.17.25416
Chicony Camera v061.005.200.310 OR Azureware 5.8.54000.206 (check first what webcam manufacturer you have)
    Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet v1.0.0.29
    Synaptic 15.2.16.1 driver package
    Atheros WiFi 9.2.1.432

    ASUS Applications
    Power4Gear Hybrid v1.1.37
    ATK Package 1.0.0.00014
    AI Recovery v1.0.15
    Control Deck v1.0.9
    FastBoot v1.0.7
    LifeFrame 3 v3.0.21
    SmartLogon v1.0.0009
    Splendid v1.02.0031
    Virtual Camera v1.0.20
    Wireless Control 3 v3.0.19

Also, Google then download and install HWiNFO64 then use it to check if you have the current vBIOS version. It should be something like (012.020.000.032.xxxxxx) if you want to install the latest Catalyst drivers from AMD. If you have confirmed that you are using the updated vBIOS, download the Catalyst 12.8 drivers from AMD. If you don't have the updated vBIOS, look for it on the stickies of this forum.

Don't forget to download and install the latest Realtek Drivers:

64bits Vista, Windows7, Windows8 Driver only (Executable file)
    ATI HDMI Audio Device

from the Realtek website. I'd recommend to install the 64bits Vista, Windows7, Windows8 Driver only first before the ATI HDMI Audio Device.

You need to download each of the drivers from the sections that are appropriate for your operating system. These include: video, mother board, audio, wifi, ethernet, etc!

thanks for all the responses so far. At the moment I am just confused as to what version of the BIOS I should update to: 213, or v93.

213 is the system bios, v93 is the video card bios.

Download 213. It is the latest, and also the best. I went from 203 to 211 and it made a huge difference.

It is confusing! The video BIOS (required to prevent GSOD's with newer ATI video drivers) has to be downloaded from links on this forum, it is not on the ASUS site.
You can verify the version on your system by entering the BIOS (F2 after power on), with any luck the previous owner may have updated it. 012.020.000.032.0383.... is the version you need).
If you need to update see this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/634168-g73jh-vbios-93v.html
