Just looking for the best guide/advice on how to undervolt my new computer. I thought it was getting hot (85/90°) when playing some games like COD4. Is there anything else I should consider doing as well?
Thanks!

Throttlestop should do it. It doesn't go over 90 does it?

Most of us have found our Zephyrus M to favor:
-Speed Shift on at 128 (some resolving stutter in games by lowering to 110 - 120), lower numbers tends to increase overall temps.
-CPU core current -125mv
-CPU cache current -50mv
Do some testing under heavy load after you make your changes are stable. You should be able to find a sweet spot that will allow you to keep cpu/gpu in the mid 70's under most load conditions like gaming, with maybe some spiking up into low 80's. Add a few degrees to these estimates if you are in a warm/hot room.Dennismungai and IXVIXXII like this. -
I thought that when it came to undervolting the rule of thumb was to keep CPU core & cache currents equal, and yet you're showing something different.
Is there something I misinterpreted? =Dennismungai and PopeMuShin like this. -
As it is not an OC'able CPU I prefer throttlestop too for this one. The settings above work really well, I can confirm.

Can't wait to test it out when I get it and see those low temps >PopeMuShin likes this. -
Have been using these settings and it works great! Temps are around 75 most of the time.
I tried undervolting the CPU cache down to -125 yesterday and got a blue screen while playing. So yeah, even though it's weird you should leave it a -50 even if the the core is at -125Dennismungai and PopeMuShin like this. -
In this model, in particular, the undervolt settings for the uncore (and cache) are very tight, and anything below 50mV will trigger a BSOD on Windows (and unrecoverable MCE errors on Linux).
What you want to focus on in this particular model is the core undervolt: 125mV is the sweet spot. The uncore undervolt at 50mV is a bonus.PopeMuShin likes this. -
Post-Skylake, Intel chips favor undervolting, responding with better thermals and performance as a trade-off.PopeMuShin likes this.
