I'm interested in buying an Asus G55, but it's already a year old. When are the new G series expected to come out? June-August maybe? I'm just wondering if I should buy now or wait.

Mid-june seems to be the consensus for most models.

As Haswell chips and next gen GPUs are also slated for release soon, OEMs will be refreshing their product lines to accommodate the new hardware. As gitt13 mentioned, you should be able to expect upcoming models sometime in June and later this year.

Official release dates can't really be given by resellers/retailers until the OEMs officially announce their new products, so for now, the word is mum. ;) But speculations and news leaks are abound.

Ok, I guess I'll wait then. Do they usually release their 17" and 15" models at the same time?

We have only heard about a 17" system.
