    I never thought 6 years ago when i made the first asus notebook video ever that I would be competing with countless other vendors in a contest for "who got the video out the fastest". I feel silly. these videos are hours appart

    yeah i started alot of trends. Built to Order asus notebooks was one of many trends. too bad one can not patent a trend :(
    the trend actually started by proportable and this forum loved him until things started changing on this forum and he closed down. Have to constantly innovate.

    OK, so it runs a lot cooler. Well. No surprise there.

    We have been badgering Asus enough to do something about the cooling. That heatsink for the GPU is enormous compared to the G73JH.

    I feel cheated by Asus now. It's like we were there first level test dummies.

    Got to love New Media! :)

    Last couple of years (or even 1 year) has been this way with game laptops. Tech is moving so fast that as soon as you buy something its outdated. I bought my G51vx-A1 and 3 weeks later the Jx came out with an i7 cpu, 2 more gigs of ram and $300 cheaper. Felt the same but I love my machine and have no regrets. This new model with most likely be crushed quickly by the next model too. Yep ... the 18.4 inch sli g80 series ... hint asus hint! Please!

    These vids are great. I can't ever get a look at the machine before I buy so thanks to resellers for putting them up.

    Yeah I hear ya. It sux knowing that your expensive toys are going to be the trailing edge after a few months.
