    M11x is to small anyway.
You need at least a 13" screen.
Would be nice if they made a G73 in a 15" size.

Then it would be a G53 (52?), duh!

    I'd like a G5x with a 5950.

Forge... i like to call it G13JH

asus make sexy laptops than alienware and i wish they make one.

nah 15 inch would be very bulky for me. i dare Asus came up with a Gaming Netbook.

i already have a M11x and i will be one of the many Happy Man if ASUS would build one. i would definitely buy one. :)

Why would you need 2 gaming netbooks?
I would love to see some companies answer to the m11x but with i-core cpus.
But i dont see any competition in this category.

The Acer TimelineX 3820TG will have Core i CPUS, and if it's offered with the HD 5650, the m11x will get pwned.

Well, 11.6" and 13.3" are not too different, especially when the m11x is large for its screen size and the Acer will actually be lighter.

The TimelineX 11.6" will not have a 5650HD I can almost guaranty that and the 13" model will for sure.

Yeah, I was talking about the 13.3"; I feel it's a fair comparison to the m11x based on weight.

I would have to agree with that.
I know the m11x is bigger than your average 11.6" system but the ACER 13.3" might not be much bigger.
I just hope it's cooling is good enough to handle the i7 and 5650HD

    m11x: 11.25" (W) x 9.19" (D) x 1.29" (H); 4.39lbs+
    3820TG: 12.7" (W) x 9.25" (D) x 0.86/1.14"(H); 3.97lbs+

So, the depth is about the same, while the 3820TG is ~13% wider, thinner by ~10-30%, and 10% lighter. You're also getting around 30% more screen area.

I'd say the only real advantage the m11x has is that it's available and the 3820TG isn't.

If Asus would put a backlit keyboard, Core i7 620, GT330/335 or ATI 57xx/58xx into the U33JC Bamboo, it would easily compare to the m11x and even Sony Z. Right now, it only seems to lack a decent video card (has a 310) and possibly backlit keyboard, which should really come standard on every "high end" model.

M11x would have been great if it had a 13 inch screen.. 11 inch is too small IMO... also this would be a great idea if it came out in 13 inch or 14...

    - 13''
    - if glossy screen, then please not too much reflections (there are half glossy, half matt screens with good contrasts and brightness)
    - perhaps i5 as an option

    that's it.

If they made the m11x a little larger with a dvd/blu ray drive, i would LOVE one.

I suppose im old fashioned still using disc media :)

Let Asus first release the laptops those were in their Mar/Apr magazine and you can think of other. This company only launches laptops on magazines and after that years to launch the product and also may discontinue the product like N61JA-A1 :D

If there were ever a G33jh-a1 model asus in the 11.6-13.3 inch form factor then we could garintee if nothing else the hinges would stand up during travel.
