I can't tell the difference in the spec listing between this and the BBK7.

One difference i see is that the BBK7 has a 2630QM CPU and the BBK8 has a 2670QM CPU but other than that they are the same.

Dang, I'm jealous! 2.2GHz base speed?

Of course I wonder if it's actually any faster...my G74 actually maintains 2.5GHz under load apparently indefinitely (I mean with 4 cores at 100%), and I don't know if this guy could actually do better or not, though if it could do 2.7GHz...

200mhz is minor in fact in real terms it would mean your video editing may finish a whole 10 seconds faster then the 2ghz CPU. You will not be able to physically see the difference it is a waste of time. To be honest even with my 4 cores running at 3.2ghz compared to my old 1.6ghz with 720QM in real time the difference although visible is not as massive as you would expect but as things become more intensive it should show itself in its true light.

What the BBK8 should have is 192bit GPU then people would be interested in it. Or an SSD those are the things that model needs not 200mhz more.
