    I was surprised with a g73jh this year at christmas.

    Just thought I'd share as I'm pretty excited.

    Now it's off to test this shiny 5870 in some games!

    Yep, updating the GPU drivers atm, as well as installing all my programs and stuff.

    Mine worked out of the box. No issues at all. Running the latest ati drivers. If it aint broke dont fix it. =-p

    That is true, but you should update the bios and vbios. It dropped my temps and makes it run a lil smaller. Just a thought guys!

    Looks like he has the bst7 which comes with the latest bios. I would play games first and see if there is any problems. I am still on stock vbios with zero problems. If it aint broke don't fix it.

    Well they come with the 211 bios, not the new one that is posted aka the beta. I am on those and the few missing keystrokes I had are no longer an issue. Just saying, its usually better to have the fresh.
