Hey all picked up the G74sx-xt1 from Tiger last night.

Do you all recommend I do a full wipe and install a clean version of windows with out the bloat? Or is the bloatware not that bad from Asus?

This is the first PC i have ever bought from a manufacture and not built it myself.

Other than that anything that you would do to a new one to make it the best possible?

Now off to find a backpack I can use for this beast on the plane.

Get rid of everything that you don't need. Simply put.

I always do a clean install if I am getting a manufacturers PC. They come with a fare amount of unnecessary software, so I like to have it be wiped of that before I start putting my own programs on there.

For now, I would recommend going into Control Panel and just uninstall what you don't need. Then if you want to start fresh, wipe away!
