    Hey guys,

I just purchased a G74SX-A2 and I love it! Runs BF3 great at a mixture of high/medium settings.

Just had a quick question about the warranty though. The guy at the store told me that it comes with a 2 year warranty (and 1 year accidental damage warranty).

Do I have to mail them this warranty card with a copy of the receipt to register it? Or can I just register it online at https://vip.asus.com/login.aspx ?

    Thank you!

You have to mail them the form for the accidental damage warranty. The two years warranty will apply from the date of manufacturing if you do not register or from the date of purchase if you register.

    Thank you.

When I mail them the form, it is saying to include the receipt. Do you know if it's ok to include a copy of the receipt?

I kind of don't want to mail the original :S

Yes, it will be ok if you include a photocopy of the receipt. Besides you could have ordered online and needed to print the pdf invoice.

Yeah, with most warranty registration they'll call for a printed copy of invoice or receipt. Registering online with ASUS is a good idea.
