After the Notebookcheck review on the new G752VT said it wasn't much of an upgrade, I decided to go with the last gen model.
Yesterday I went out and bought myself a G751JY-Db72 thanks to a price match that took $500 off.
Said laptop was an open box, which meant an additional 5% discount.
Here's the thing: when I booted it up, it was already preloaded with Windows 10 (instead of the 8.1 it was supposed to have). That's not a complaint.
What is odd, to me, is that all the default ASUS preinstalls are missing.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Should I be complaining to the store or count my blessings that I don't have to do the clean install myself?

Someone has done a clean install over it, pick the software you want from asus and carry on.

If you're lucky, the store installed a clean version. If you're unlucky, the previous owner installed some version and added a keylogger. You decide
In any case, you get all the Asus software on their download site.
