The notebook drivers seem to work so far pretty good for me. And it seems they fixed the memory leak problem that the latest beta had.
Also for some reason only with latest beta and this WHQL release hardware acceleration seems to be working ok with firefox. Previously it worked only in version 275.33 and below. -

Great, will definitely update when I get home. The last beta release, while the most stable overall, has crashed twice for me, resulting in a hard restart once. I've never had this issue before. Hopefully this will fix it. And performance increase in games is always welcome.
-
Good performance boost in Skyrim! Though it decreased my benchmark scores ._.
-
Just had a TDR with it -_-', lowered my OC from 796/1546/1592 to 790/1546/1580 (GTX460M), future will tell if that's OC or drivers fault.
-
it has lowered my 3DMark06 point as well. i couldn't find any difference between this one and previous beta one.
-
Nothing changed for me performance wise (that i could notice), but Firefox does not crash anymore after playing streams or video on webpages. Before it would always leave the plugin-container opened in background for a while and showing crash after.
In games like BF3, MW3 and some others no visible problems with my OC (900core 1600memory). -
Correction on the performance front, my OC'd 560m went from 7.3 to 7.4 WEI (windows experience score)
-
Any other experience ?
Seems like i'm gonna need driver sweeper , the new WHQL says " no correct hardware detected for this driver " -_- -
last one week already I m using generally all benchmarks score goes down and actually for the game side I couldnt get any clear performance inreasing,,,
today I had sudden purple screen issues in such area on the screen became purple like to much overclocked memory sign and recovered itself,,,
I think 290.53 is still best later on 275.33 and 285.62.
and how the all bench. goes down dont know.
Current situation 295.73 driver and overclocked GPU. 855/1710/1625 0.962volt with modified bios.
I will check some additional game but it seems it will be better to return back 290.53 -
I am not extreme gamer, but i like NFS. My favourite game starting freezing since i installed this version of nvidia. Just all of a sudent while playing, game gets frozen. I dont knw if it was fault with the game or with the driver...is there anyone having this problem?
-
Hey guys.
Sorry for the n00b'ish question. I`m currently running version 285.62. Do I need to uninstall this (Safe Mode, Driver Sweeper, etc) or just install 295.73 on it.
Regards -
Choose custom install and tick the option for a clean install.
-
For me the "Clean install" works every time.
Yes, you have to set the preferences in driver back, but on the other hand never had random driver related issues that bugs so many people. -
Thanks guys. -
I'm having some kind of framerate drop in League of Legend ... not that much ( i mean , i go from constant 60 to 45 for 1 sec when 2 or 3 ulti at the same time for ex ) with some very little freeze i never experienced before , i'm thinking of revert back to old drivers.
