    Right, so my other G750JX died (only after a few months after buying the laptop), so i bought a new one. Now my question is ;

    How do you handle your laptop battery?

    - Do you play games with your power cable connected at all times? (this is what i want to do for maximum performance etc)
    - Do you take out the power cable when the laptop is turned off ?
    - Do you take out the battery when the laptop is turned off ?

    You want to play games with the power plugged in. Quick battery drain puts more stress on the battery (if I recall correctly).

    For 2 & 3, I don't do those things. My laptop, however, has a setting to charge the battery only up to 80% which I do use.

    Yes plugged in
    No never remove cable
    No never remove battery unless I'm going inside to fix something.
    Only unplug when going on the road. Mostly every where I go this is an desktop replacement I only use battery for UPS. Even new on these workhorses battery only last a short time.

    I always just leave my battery in, it wears at the normal rate.
