Hey all after MUCH debate over the past couple weeks I decided to buy an Asus Gaming laptop. I bought the G750JM-DS71 from Amazon yesterday and will have it tomorrow morning. Im a complete newb to computers so hang in there please. I am wanting to know if I can completely take out my 5400 rpm HDD and replace it with a Samsung SSD and use the SSD only or do I need an HDD? If so what is a good SSD to buy? I would like at lest a 750gb SSD. Thank you.

SSD. I watched a video on youtube and a guy replaced his HDD with an SSD but first he transferred all of his data to the SSD. He then put it in and ran his computer off of that.

Yes but you will have to reinstall windows and the drivers. I would recommend the Samsung 840 EVO.
