    I plan to buy a Win7 ultimate from school .

    Wonder whether those pre-installed softwares will stay or not?

    Nope because you need to format your hard drive, which means perform a deep clean operation and start from scratch.

    That means also that youll need to manually provide drivers and reinstall everything by hand.

    Its a bit time consuming but totally worth it. Asus Os is riddled with all sort of broken things, it should be the first thing to get rid of.

    Actually, you have two options, to do an in place upgrade which would leave all the bloatware or a clean install like kingpinzero describes. Options 2 is the one i recommend.
