Downloading it now and will be running 3Dmark11 after installation and compare it against the latest WHQL driver.

It seems that this is an update for 3Dvision mainly Alice Returns and adds suppport for Lenovo IdeaPad Y530..

I doubt that there will be a performance upgrade.....

Here are the latest WHQL driver benchmarks.

275.33 drivers with factory clock = p1963 GPU was 69 degrees maximum.

    275.33 drivers with 810/1375 clocks = p2272... GPU was 73 degrees maximum.

    Beta 275.50 Benchmarks

275.50 beta drivers with factory clock = p1969 GPU was 67 degrees maximum

275.50 beta drivers with 810/1375 clocks = gave a driver stopped responding error

275.50 beta drivers with 775/1375 clocks = p2233 GPU was 71 degrees maximum

Weird that i got a drivers stopped responding error with 810/1375 levels. I will give it a try again later with those settings. ANyways its cool as i never game at that level. I either game at 745/1375 or 775/1375

GPU seems to be running a bit cooler but there is not any significant FPS gain.

Every Nvidia whql driver seem to add points on benchmarks, which in turn adds fps even a little.. But this though..

so the GPU runs cooler on ideal\full load with the those beta drivers (275.50) than with the 275.33?

I'm 99% sure that's just because of a change in room temperature. ;)

The 6 point 3DMark difference means nothing. The score varies a bit every time you run it. ;)

The release notes don't tell of any improvement for anything other than desktop GTX 570/580/590. It's just a minor driver release. Won't hurt to update, but don't expect anything from it apart from a few miscellaneous bug fixes and tiny optimizations.

I agree with sarge. The temperature might have something to do with the room's climate.

Besides that the performance is pretty much the same.

No need to upgrade but as Sarge says again, it wont hurt to do so.

    @ lvldeath

If you are gaming with 3Dvision, you might want to upgrade as it resolves few problems with some games and add some new game profiles as well.
