    Hello, i have a G73SW-A1

    Please help one of the usb ports isnt working tried uninstalling it from device manager and tried rebooting but nothing helped :(

    any suggestions please ?

    it might be the USB 3 port try getting the driver from asus website and installing it.

    yes but just to be sure how do i do it this is the location

    C:\Users\M3N\Desktop\infinst_autol.exe

    is it: C:\Users\M3N\Desktop\infinst_autol.exe -overall

    Navigate to the location you save it in and go up one directory. Hold Shift + Right Click on the directory folder where it is saved and select "Open Command Prompt here" Easiest way to get the command prompt where you are at.

    So the port is totally dead? I know on some models the USB ports are on device card extensions, and cable to the motherboard. Maybe a connection is loose?
