    Hello,

The forum will crash if we move your thread, so have patience.

Also, why do you want to overclock that processor? In your laptop(which I like to call the 'KIA' of laptops), it will melt. It would be a better idea to get a new laptop with a NVIDIA card.

Post it in the WNSIB forum, and we can help you get a better laptop.

    Happy Holidays.

Hi , I have a Asus G73JH! It runs pretty cool so not a problem! I know the that in the G73 you can overclock the CPU but i don't know how to use SetFSB to do that. I need a start there... Anyways my max temps under load are 70C for CPU+ 80C for GPU so really its ok... Of course on my old Dv6 its a no go.

    Thanks

Greetings new user, all of the information you have requested is in the Gaming Notebook sticky, perhaps you missed it at the top of the page:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/537219-read-before-posting-common-problems-useful-threads-read-before-posting.html#g73jh-general

Don't overclock too far or your memory can get errors which will cause unpredictable behavior and you might get too much TCP overhang and your web browser will start to malfunction and also you can void your warranty.

I have seen all that. I know you can OC but how do you use SetFSB? That's my question. None of topics there come on how to use SetFSB.

    Thanks

Don't waste time with SetFSB. Just overclock the USB controller and your cpu will be faster...it will be like Vtec just kicked in, yo.
