So coming from a Asus g50 vt that had direct console which would let me choose the speed/overclock the laptop, I now own a G53-JW and noticed that it does not have this feature. Is there anyway to get it into my new laptop or a similar program? I had my g50 vt for about 3 years and i used to overclock it using the direct console a lot and never had any problems with it. Would that be the same case with my new G53 JW laptop?

Really no need to OC an i7 mobile system, as TurboBoost does the work for you. GPU is another story. :)
