    Overvolting the 5870m

    Anyone do this for higher overclocks? My temps are, for lack of a better description, pretty low when running furmark at 800/1100 (70c max after an hour). Problem is, at stock volts it refuses to go any higher without crashing and restoring the driver. I don't want to go too crazy with a ton of extra volts, but just a tad to test it out and was curious if anyone else had experimented with this, or has a link to someone who has. Thanks!

    Was looking into this myself a bit ago and cannot find a way to push it past the stock max. Tried bios, Afterburner, etc. Don't think 1.2v is going to happen on these cards. :(

    (Unless the ability "read the voltage regulator" was removed between revisions like it was on some Desktop 5870's)
