Well, I havn't o/c it yet, and I wanted to check the result with 3DMark11. I got P2021:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G53SW score: P2021 3DMarks

    and I have this msg:

"Your result has the following problem(s) and will not be shown for example on leaderboards:: Graphics driver is not approved"

There is a problem? because I have the 285.26 drivers.

My second question is, Is that ok if I use 3DMark06 + MSI burner (and raise 20Mhz every check) to check till how long I can o.c? and when I see bugs/vbos, to stop?

    Thanks! :)

Luckysword if you post your OC score i think you will not help him much.

Waffleboy, youre on 285.27beta right? then 2021 is fine at stock clocks.
If you bump your OC a bit more, say, at gtx560m speeds 775-1350 i bet youll see a nice boost :)

About the overclocking method, laptops works a bit differently than desktops.
So yes, OC 50mhz at once, then do a full run with 3dmark06.
If its stable, keep pushing it.

Remember however that from time to time you need to test a game at least half hour to see if youre stable.

you can overclock upto 800/1600/1500 directly without any problem and over 800 core better to increase 5 in each step but recently which I believe you also follow there is a overvolted bios firstone was 0.962 and now we have even 1.0V in your machine original bios should be max 0.912 so it is not easy to go up more than 825 with 0.912V but with 0.962 850 core seems quite normal and for the 1.0V we are still testing 865/1650/1525 seems stable

How to overclock the GeForce GTX 460 | News | TechRadar UK

Umm.. the problem is, I can't change the voltage.
To o.c I have to raise ONLY the core clock? or the other options too? (and if both, I have to raise all the options 25Mhz~15Mhz every time?

(I know I ask alot of questions, I don't want to lose this laptop :O )

MSI Afterburner or any other overclock cant help for voltage overclock recently Saltius has achieved to modify bios voltage up to 0.962V which gives stable overclock on 850 core but voltage overclock is little risky so better to attempt when you really reach the limit with the overclock tools

and for the bios update check below page in the middle information hope will be helpful
