From the looks of it, the g73 screen color is more vibrant? or that's the exposure of your camera.

Also, are those glossy 1080 ? I'm trying to get one from the marketplace and they are glossy.

Not a very good camera, if you can even call it then, cell phone. The Clevo is a Matte 95% NTSC, used a simple calibration tool.

But once you see this screen, you realize how dark, and neon-like colors the Hann-Star in the G73JH is. The Matte screen is much brighter also, believe it's about 300 nits and the Hann-Star maybe 200 nits or less, very low.

ohh, I'm trying to get one off of here from a member.

He's selling the 1080 screen that comes with the laptop, so it's glossy.

I am fine with the screen brightness of the 1600*900 screen that's currently on my laptop, if the stock 1080 is any where as bright as my current one, then ill be happy.

Do note that I used to have a ibm t61p, and the screen is just utter crap (high res) though. basically my current medium brightness equals the t61p max.

Viewing angles on the t61p was crap as well.

Nice to see that the G73JH is winning clearly the design part, thank you for the comparison :)
