Got my new G750JW setup with WIN 7 64 except for one thing in my Device Manager that keeps staring at me - "PCI Simple Communications Controller" has an exclamation mark next to it. Anybody know what I missed during driver installs?

    Intel Management Engine Interface.

It's pretty much useless for a consumer gaming laptop as it's a remote access and management technology intended for businesses and other mass-deployment cases. Just disable it in Device Manager, that's what I did. No need to install the driver for something you'll never use, and it won't cause any problems whatsoever.

I never used it but always have had it installed. don't want no freakin' exclamation marks in my device manager

here is the driver you need dawg:

    Intel Management Engine Interface 8.1.0.1252

(After Installation is done, you will get a license agreement for the Intel Manageability Engine Firmware Recovery Agent, Do not accept it, just QUIT to exit the go to Control Panel > Programs & Features, then uninstall the Intel Manageability Engine Firmware Recovery Agent only. This is not required for most people it is only for remote IT Assistance)

I followed ibbi1337's instructions about the Intel crap and got an error message "This computer does not meet the minimum requirement." I also have an issue with BCM20702A0 - whatever it is it won't go away. I think it's some Broadcomm thingy but none of the drivers I tried work.

All this has to be something I am doing wrong.

Thanks ibbi1337 but got off the phone with ASUS an hour ago and I was told to send the unit back - speakers are busted. Man I have had bad fortune in the past week with notebooks!
