It should work, but the Phoenix pros are a little buggy. Some drives have a hard time being detected by the bios, and only a rma will fix it.

For the same amount of $$$ you can get the adata 64gb sandforce at microcenter.com $99. It is actually called a microcenter drive but adata makes it. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0351760 It is almost as good as Phoenix Pro, only difference is IOPS but the read write speeds are the same. Now if you find a better deal on the 60gb Phoenix Pro go for it, just be prepared to RMA if it doesn't work. Also the Pro has new firmware that just came out so don't forget to upgrade that first.

I would also recommend the OCZ agility 2 and Vertex 2, both are sandforce drives but cost more, but you can get then for $100 after rebate sometimes. I had a oCZ vertex 1 and it worked great, now I use it in my desktop.

I don't know anything about those CPUs, sorry.
