    Pink/purple textures in games

    Well, my G73JH seems to be giving me all sorts of random problems lately. First it was BSODing after being put to sleep, and now this:

    For no apparent reason I'm getting pinkish purple textures in games. Above screenshot is from Half-Life 2: Lost Coast but this happens in all games. Anybody else ever experience this? Specs are in my sig below.

    The source engine does that when you minimize and maximize its games. To keep this from happening, play in windowed mode or refrain from tabbing out while playing.

    Thanks for the info. I think that's what the problem was. I was able to recreate the purple textures again by task switching a few times mid-game.
