Hi guys, just bought myself a G74SX. I'm not sure, but is there a plastic film protecting the touchpad when you first buy it? It looks like it but I'm afraid to try peeling something off if it's supposed to be there.

Unless you're the kind of person who has plastic covers on their furniture, go ahead and peel it off along with the film over the camera on the display bezel. ;)

OK, thanks, it worked. That thing was on REALLY on tight though. Had to dig my fingernail underneath. That's why I thought it might actually be part of the touchpad lol.
