I'm looking to be able to play audio from 2 sources. I just purchased an Asus VE247H-P monitor and it doesn't have internal speakers built in. I use it with my g73-sw as extended desktop and would love to have music audio constantly playing from that side of my desk. I have a pair of USB speakers that can plug into the audio headphone on the monitor, default HDMI, and they work just fine, but lose internal speakers. I've read that people are able to default internal speakers and enable listening from the "stereo mix" recording menu and default their HDMI source, but it doesn't seem to be working because it's going from HDMI back through to headphone jack.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get this up and running without buying anything else?

    Thanks so much

This might solve your problem: http://forum.notebookreview.com/not...2383-guide-use-2-audio-devices-same-time.html. I haven't taken a complete look at it, but it looks like it might work for you. The tutorial is for microphones, but i assume it can work the other way around with speakers. Not entirely sure it will work with the integrated sound processor. Note that this is only if you want both outputs to play the same thing. If you want them to play different outputs, then i'm not entirely sure on how to do that.
